Within the framework of the ‘Monuments of Memory 1918-2018’ project, coordinated by the Krzyżowa Foundation, in schools in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Romania, are conducted workshops on selected elements of historical policy and ways in which societies commemorate the history of their nation.
During the workshops the pupils got to know the assumptions of the ‘Monuments of Remembrance 1918-2018’ project and methods of preparing descriptions of monuments. After that pupils, under the supervision of a history teacher, study not only the circumstances of the creation of the objects of their choosing - but above all how they exist in the consciousness of the local community.
The project ‘Monuments of Remembrance 1918-2018’ is implemented within the framework of the Europe for Citizens programme (component: European Remembrance).
On 23rd May, Dr Tomasz Skonieczny, Deputy Head of the European Academy, gave a lecture for the students of the Institute of Political Science in the field of Social Project Management, during which he presented the organization and daily work of the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe.
In 2018, the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education awarded the above mentioned field of study the Certificate "Studies with the Future" and the Laurel of Innovation.

It will be dealt with both in the theoretical part in the form of lectures and in the practical part, i.e. the bibliodramatic workshops.
We invite all teachers and students who are interested in this form of work with biblical texts and in the theme of reconciliation to participate. For teachers, the workshop offers the opportunity to broaden their professional qualifications.
