We are very happy to announce that the project of the Krzyżowa Foundation "Dialogue of Generations. A programme for the social activation of seniors in Lower Silesia" has received funding from the Multiannual Programme for the Elderly "Aktywni+" for the years 2021-2025, edition 2022. The aim of the project is to develop the social activation of older people through intra- and intergenerational integration. Seniors from the districts of Świdnica, Dzierżoniów and Wałbrzych will take part in the activities.


In October and November 2021, over 500 students, representatives of all primary schools in Świdnica, visited Krzyżowa as part of the "Świdnicka Mozaika Edukacyjna" project. Students learned together and developed their interests by implementing content related to ecology, nature and science, as well as information and communication technologies.

„Świdnicka Mozaika Edukacyjna” is a partnership project of the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe (Partnership Leader) and the Municipality of Świdnica (Project Partner). The project is aimed at teachers, pedagogical staff and students of all 7 public primary schools in Świdnica, whose governing body is the Municipality of the City of Świdnica.

On 29-30 September, employees of "Krzyżowa" Foundation took part in a study visit in EUC Zealand in Næstved, Denmark. The visit was organised within a project "Skills and Talent" funded by Erasmus+ programme.

The aim of the "Skills and Talent" project is to exchange experiences of partners participating in skills competitions and to create a good practice handbook for VET (Vocational Education and Training) institutions and VET teachers and trainers. The handbook/platform will include sample materials on the organisation of skills competitions, preparation of pupils for competitions, information materials and exercises for primary and lower secondary school pupils, teaching materials for vocational school pupils, training methods for VET teachers and trainers, etc.

On Tuesday, 11 May 2021, an on-line conference was held, which summarized the project "Digital Mentoring - a new dimension of teaching", it was also aimed at disseminating the solutions developed during the project. The conference was organized by the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe and the partner institution from Ireland - H2 Learning.

The meeting was opened by Iwona Machoń-Pluszczewska, the project coordinator, presenting the sources of funding and the main assumptions of the project and its team: Tamara Chorąży and Jolanta Kolinko from the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe and Maria Folk and Karolina Wójcik from H2 Learning.
