Summer Guitar Festival

We are delighted to invite you to the 24th Summer Guitar Festival, which will take place from July 14th to July 21st, 2024 in Krzyżowa. This unique musical event, organized by the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe and the Centre for Culture and Arts in Wrocław, will bring together outstanding guitarists from Poland and abroad, offering unforgettable concerts and a rich artistic program.

During the festival, you will have the opportunity to attend a series of concerts, workshops, and meetings with guitar masters. The festival program includes:

July 15, 2024 / MONDAY

20:00-21:30 Concert: Mateusz Kowalski, Feliks Jakubowski – Grand Prix Martinez 2023

July 16, 2024 / TUESDAY

Summer Guitar Festival 06-13.08.2023

The Summer Guitar Festival has been held continuously since 2001. Every year, excellent musicians from Poland and abroad share their knowledge and skills here.

The festival gathers guitar adepts and excellent musicians in Krzyzowa every year. The workshops, lectures and master classes will be attended by children, teenagers and adults, as one of the main principles of the festival is not to set an age limit. Thanks to this, guitar meetings in Krzyzowa have an intergenerational dimension.

Concerts, open to the public, are also an important part of the festival, so not only guitarists, but all music lovers from near and far around Krzyzowa can participate.

Among this year's lecturers conducting individual classes
and group classes will include excellent artists and educators from various teaching centers and representing different musical styles. They will include Krzysztof Pełech, Robert Horna, Marek Piaseczny, Magdalena Czwojda, Marcin Chiliński, and Thomas Fellow.

The Summer Guitar Festival has been held continuously since 2001. Every year, outstanding musicians from Poland and abroad share their knowledge and skills here. . Mutual understanding and respect is the secret of the success of this magical place, which creates a friendly and comfortable environment for the guitar development of every participant - regardless of level.

Invariably, for over 20 years, the artistic director of the Summer Guitar Festival has been it initiator - an outstanding guitarist and lecturer at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Professor Krzysztof Pełech.

Today begins the 21st edition of the Summer Guitar Festival, which every year brings together dozens of guitar practitioners and outstanding musicians from around the world in Krzyżowa. The workshops and master classes will be attended by children, adolescents and adults, because one of the main assumptions of the festival is not to set the age limit. Thanks to this, the guitar meetings in Krzyżowa have an intergenerational dimension.

An important element of the festival are also concerts held in the Piwnica Palace in Krzyżowa, which are open to the public, so not only guitarists, but all music lovers can participate in the festival. Admission to this year's concerts is free, but there is a limit of places.
