Symposium "Do it! How to create eco-sustainable education places?" (4-5.11) brought together people who want to green the places of their educational work and implement the values they teach.
From the Besucherzentrum für Natur- und Umwelterziehung "Drei Eichen" we have learned how to be a mother of inventions - especially in the middle of the forest educational centre. The Aeris Futuro Foundation introduced us to the green standards of events introduced in Poland and the IBZ-Internationales Begegegnungszentrum St. Marienthal told us about the certification process of the meeting house. During the workshop, Ania Dańkowska presented the efforts for greater ecological sustainability in the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe.
On November 22nd, Krzyżowa hosted a three-day seminar in the framework of the "Laboratory of Dialogue and Reconciliation" project.
"Laboratory of Dialogue and Reconciliation" is a Polish-German project in the field of civic education, which aims to develop practical guidelines and recommendations to support constructive dialogue based on mutual respect – an attempt to oppose the growing polarization of society.
The programme was rich in discussions and debates with experts dealing with civic education.

The publication is an attempt to reflect on the historical experience of Polish-German rapprochement and the science that flows from it for us, our contemporaries. It was created within the framework of the project "Heritage of Polish-German reconciliation and building a Europe of values", which the "Krzyżowa" Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe implemented in cooperation with and thanks to the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Poland and the "Memory and Future" Center. Several experts from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and France were invited to participate in the project, representing various scientific disciplines, experiences and philosophical options, who for years have not only been professionally involved in the issue of reconciliation in international relations, but have also been actively involved in Polish-German dialogue.
