We invite you to watch a short video made as a part of the project "Local history on Instagram", which was realized by Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe in 2021.

The next film we invite you to watch tells the story of the Fulda witch trials and was filmed in Fulda.

The filmmaker presents the story of the arrests of women in Fulda in the early 17th century. The women, including the most famous of the victims, Merga Bien, were accused of practising black magic and consequently burnt at the stake.

The next film we would like to share with you concerns the Bet Tahara building and was made in Olsztyn.

The filmmaker presents the only architectural monument to the Olsztyn Jewish community - Bet Tahara, a building designed by the internationally renowned architect, Erich Mendelsohn.

We invite you to watch a short video made as a part of the project "Local history on Instagram", which was realized by the Krzyżowa Foundation in 2021.

The Movie presents various memorial places in Fulda and leads through the city with the historical figure of Gottfried Adolf Behrend. The authors of the video show places, buildings and statues of the city which remind in different ways, such as the castle. But they also show old letterings of watchmaker's shop, butcher's shop and bakery, which also present history.

We invite you to watch a short video made as a part of the project "Local history on Instagram", which was realized by the Krzyżowa Foundation in 2021.

The film was made in Reszel, a small town in Poland, and concerns one of the streets there.

The author of the film encourages viewers to guess the name of the street, presenting its history from the 14th century to the present day. This story is a pretext for drawing attention to the railway station building, now closed and neglected, which was once an important center of the city's life.
