From 06 - 16.08.2022, participants aged 15 - 22 came to Krzyżowa for a Polish-German-French summer youth exchange "Human, you have rights!" with an artistic touch and the theme of human rights.

The 156th day of the war in Ukraine is passing. And in Krzyzowa life is going on for our guests from Ukraine. We try to offer help in various areas. Despite the vacations, the children want to learn Polish and, thanks to funds raised by the staff and employees of Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, they practice Polish grammar twice a week in two age groups, learn new vocabulary and play in Polish.
And in the afternoons, their parents also study Polish intensively and benefit from career counseling - this week they discover how to start their own business in Poland, how to prepare a good business plan and how to deal with formalities. This activity is taking place thanks to funding from the Polish-American Freedom Foundation under the Supporting Ukraine program implemented by the Education for Democracy Foundation.
Support for refugees and refugee women from Ukraine is a great challenge, which we manage to meet thanks to the commitment of our team and the financial support of our donors. The needs for organizing such assistance are enormous. Therefore, we continue to ask for your support, which will allow us to continue our activities and provide assistance and security to families from Ukraine.

At the beginning of the year, we posted an English-language publication containing historical essays designed to tell the story of 'stolen children' from Central and Eastern Europe. It depicted the policies of the Nazi authorities, the process of obtaining and germanising children and, by showing the fates of individuals, how strongly these events left their mark on them.
The publication included texts by authors from Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Ukraine [link]
Today we are posting all the texts from this publication in the national languages of their authors:
On its history study tour through Poland, the Hohenschwangau Gymnasium just stopped in Kreisau/Krzyżowa from 17.7. - 19.7.2022 to immerse itself in the history of the place and, in particular, to learn more about the resistance group "Kreisau Circle".
The program included a historical tour of the site and workshops on the resistance group, in which the participants dealt with the personalities as well as the views and goals of the Circle. The students, aged between 17 and 18, were very engaged in preparing the talk show "A Look into the Past": they slipped into the role of several Kreisau Circle members, who were greeted and interviewed by a moderation team. They also investigated how the Circle distinguished itself from the N.S., and what references there are between the documents and the Basic Law of the FRG.
