On April 3, the second preparatory meeting for the project "Tradition connects generations" took place in Krzyżowa. The project is co-financed by the Government Programme for Social Activity of the Elderly (ASOS). The meeting was the last arrangements before the opening conference, which will take place in Krzyżowa on 25 April 2019.

The project "Tradition connects generations" has been implemented by the Krzyżowa Foundation since 2016. The aim of the project is to develop social activity of elderly people through integration within and between generations.

Within the framework of the project "Educational mosaic" in Krzyżowa in 2019 specialized classes for students of primary schools of public and non-public institutions in Świdnica and Lubin counties as well as general education teachers take place. They take part in the project:

• Primary School No. 1 in Świdnica;
• Primary School No. 4 in Świdnica;
• Primary School No. 8 in Świdnica;
• Salesian Primary School in Lubin;
• Primary School in Szklary Górne.

"Educational mosaic" is an initiative which aims to increase students' competences, ensure equal access to high quality education, introduce innovative teaching methods and tools, organize various forms of activities developing talents using modern technologies, as well as equipping mathematical and natural science laboratories within the project.

We are very happy to inform you that the Krzyżowa Foundation's project "Tradition connects generations" received funding from the Government Programme for Social Activation of the Elderly for the years 2014-2020.

The "Tradition connects generations" project has been implemented by the Krzyżowa Foundation since 2016. The aim of the project is to develop social activity of older people through integration within and between generations.

"Make three out of two!” is the title of a seminar that took place on 08-12.03.2019 in Krzyżowa. During the seminar the participants - teachers and educators from Poland, Germany and Ukraine - created and developed projects of trilateral school exchanges.

An important aspect of the seminar was the exchange of experiences and discussion on the specificity of work in tri-national teams.

The objectives of the project were:

• Exchange of experiences in the field of methods of working with young people during school exchanges,
• Advice on the practical and organisational aspects of tripartite projects,
• Developing the ability to manage school exchange projects,
• Establishing contacts with schools from Poland, Ukraine and Germany, which are interested in implementing tripartite projects,
• Plan future school exchange projects with potential partners - with the support of trainers and promoters.
