In September, traditionally, we welcome new volunteers to Krzyżowa. Two new fantastic friends - Emma and Anna-Sofia - have been with us for several days.
Where they came from, why they came to Krzyżowa and what are their first impressions - you can read about this in short self-presentations.
We are very happy that Emma and Anna-Sofia are already with us and we wish them that the time they will spend in Krzyżowa will be creative, interesting and full of good emotions!
Students from the Technical School in Kłodzko have just started a series of specialist classes shaping their competences and digital skills. The workshops are held in Krzyżowa. During the workshops, participants will learn about the tools developed in the project "Digital Pathways for Youth across".
The Krzyżowa Foundation as one of the project partners has been recommended by the European Commission of the Council for Education, Youth, Culture and Sport to implement tools in the education process.
Today we celebrate Empty Classroom Day! It is an international initiative that aims to spread outdoor education among teachers of different subjects at different educational stages.
Going out with education in the field has many advantages: fresh air (so important especially now, in times of pandemic), activation of the senses, calming of runaway thoughts, better concentration, as well as fun, movement and, above all, own experience - thanks to which we learn and remember more easily. In this way, we build a bond with nature, so that we can later become more involved with it.

On 25-27 November, a unique, international project will start at the Krzyżowa Foundation. Its theme will be the integration potential of monotheistic religions for today's Europe. For the first time in the history of the Foundation, representatives of all three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam will meet in Krzyżowa. Due to the situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be conducted online.
European societies today experience various tensions and divisions. This challenge also applies to monotheistic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam - for centuries inextricably linked with European history. Religions can strengthen antagonisms in society, but they also have an integrating effect on them.
In response to this challenge, the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe is launching a new conceptual and educational project aimed at developing opportunities for activities to promote integration, solidarity and a culture of dialogue in civil society.
