For the duration of distance education in schools, the International Youth Meeting Center of the Krzyżowa Foundation launches E-CONSULTATIONS - help for students with experience of migration.

  • Do you have a problem in learning caused by insufficient knowledge of the Polish language? - Use a language emergency!
  • Do you have a student in your class who is unable to learn due to language reasons? - Tell him or her about our support options!

Every Wednesday from 10.00 to 14.00 schoolchildren can take advantage of language consultations conducted by a teacher of Polish as a Foreign Language.

The preparation for our online training #creatingSpace is in full swing. Unfortunately the participants do not have the chance to talk about digital ethics in Kreisau. Nevertheless, we would like to give the participants the feeling of moving between rooms and locations.

Therefore we will meet during the seminar in different rooms: sometimes in the ballroom, we will brainstorm on the grass in front of the castle, we will work in small groups in the lounge under the castle roof or in the Sala Majowa and take a break on the bench in the sun and maybe take a walk through the avenue together, all of course only virtually!

The beautiful weather, which accompanied us before Easter, allowed us to carry out advanced cleaning works in Krzyżowa.

Not everyone knows that, but on the area of the Krzyżowa Foundation you can use the sensory path. Unfortunately, the path was overgrown with weeds and needed to be cleaned up.

Our colleague from the IYMC, Karolina, decided to bring back the old shine to this place.

The effect is immediately visible, and the path awaits for all those who would like to feel the structure of the stones, bark, and sand under their feet.

Meanwhile, Karolina has decided to tell all those who are thirsty for experience, how such a sensory path can be prepared on their own at home (#stayhome!!!).

Democracy today begins on the smartphone: every day we are overwhelmed with information about Corona through various channels, such as What's app, Messenger, Instagram etc. So it is not so easy to distinguish facts from fake news. Fake news and Corona shake hands here.

On April 14th almost 20 students* of the German language school from Siedlce took part in our webinar on the topic of Fake News #wewanttoknow. Together we discussed current news and thought about who benefits from Fake News. Why are fake news dangerous for democracy and how can we check news for theirs before we send them on?
