Today we celebrate Empty Classroom Day! It is an international initiative that aims to spread outdoor education among teachers of different subjects at different educational stages.
Going out with education in the field has many advantages: fresh air (so important especially now, in times of pandemic), activation of the senses, calming of runaway thoughts, better concentration, as well as fun, movement and, above all, own experience - thanks to which we learn and remember more easily. In this way, we build a bond with nature, so that we can later become more involved with it.
In practice, the teachers who were present at the global education training within the framework of the project "Our common world - global education of children" became convinced of this. They immersed themselves in the world of nature surrounding Krzyżowa with all their senses.
