From 23.02.-02.03.2019 the second and last meeting of the project "Polish families in the theatre of life" will take place in Krzyżowa. The week-long classes will be attended by Polish youth from the Union of Poles in Ukraine, Korosten Branch and the Z. Wróblewski High School No. 9 in Cracow.
"Polish families in the theatre of life" is another project co-financed by the Ministry of National Education in Poland, in which participants have the opportunity to discover history in an interesting, engaging way, while at the same time building a sense of identity through conscious dealing with the history of their community.
The participants of the meeting in Krzyżowa, even before their arrival, in conversations with their loved ones, got to know the fate of their own family and often discovered its intricate history. During the workshops, with the help of drama techniques, the young people watched the collected stories, explored them and discovered the meanings contained in them. In this way, initially abstract history gained a personal dimension, and communing with it became an exceptional experience.
The effects of young people's work can be seen during the performance, which the participants will present in Krzyżowa on 01.03.2019 at 5.30 pm.

The last meeting of the "Tradition connects generations" project took place in Krzyżowa on December 13th. It was, however, an extraordinary meeting - a Christmas Eve of participants: seniors, youth and children as well as coordinators, trainers and employees of the Foundation who were involved in the project all year round.
The programme of the event was very rich - the artistic programme of children (Primary School in Rogoźnica), as well as musical and cabaret performances of seniors. The most important, however, were emotions. The afternoon was full of thanks and wishes.
In the Foundation we have hope that we will meet with the participants of the project next year as well.
From 9th to 16th November 2018 in Krzyżowa took place workshops within the framework of the project "Polish families in the theatre of life". The week-long classes were attended by Polish youth from the J. Słowacki Junior High School in Bezdany (Lithuania) and students of the School Complex No. 3 in Kłobuck (Śląskie Voivodeship).
