It is with great pride and joy that we announce that our Foundation is on the ranking list of the grant competition "Pathways of cooperation - support for entities implementing international cooperation" as part of the action: 4.3 Transnational cooperation, axis IV. Social innovations and transnational cooperation agreement no. UDA-POWR.04.03.00-00-0096/17-00.
We won the second place in Poland with a score of 40.5 points, the best application received 41 points, and in order to obtain recommendations for project financing the applicant had to gain 20 points.
The "Krzyżowa" Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe submitted the application for co-financing of the project entitled: “ARTaTOOL - Artistic activities as a tool for pupils to develop their creativity, digital competence, mathematical and science skills”
Planned project implementation period: from 1 June 2020 to 30 April 2021.

Project purpose: To develop and implement in 7 primary schools in Świdnica the ArtaTool method, consisting in the use of visual arts for the development of key competences in schoolchildren. The goal will be achieved by adapting the method used by a transnational partner - Irish company Da Vinci Box from Dublin - to the Polish ground.
This is a project that adds a transnational component to the "Świdnica educational mosaic" implemented in partnership with the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding (leader) and the Municipality of Świdnica within the framework of the Regional Operational Programme of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020.
The ARTaTOOL grant project will contribute to equipping teachers with the ability to effectively use of ICT equipment and use elements of visual art to work with schoolchildren aged 7-14. The method will increase students' interest in science subjects and develop their social competences, their ability to argue, defend their own beliefs and understand the legitimate position of others in relation to their own views, awaken their interest in mathematics, research and science, and develop the creativity of children and young people through exercises in the field of fine arts, drawing, painting and graphics.
