The Intercultural Education Fair is an annual event that takes place in Wrocław from 2014. The aim of the Fair is to promote and develop intercultural competences and good intercultural practices in Wrocław educational institutions. The event is attended by non-governmental organizations and institutions that support education for openness, mutual respect and dialogue. They present their innovative activities, projects and educational offers for children and young people.
The event is attended by specialists in educational projects of the International Youth Meeting Centre in Krzyżowa.
Participants of the fair can get acquainted with the current offer of non-governmental organizations, as well as hear the speeches of invited guests – researchers and representatives of cultural environments from Poland and other European countries. The conference part includes panel discussions, speeches of representatives of the local community and representatives of national and ethnic minorities who live in Wrocław. During the fair, lectures are also given on the issues of building an open society and conducting classes shaping the attitude of openness among children and youth. At the fair, in an informal atmosphere (with coffee and tea), you can get to know each other’s educational needs, establish cooperation and build relationships for the future, as well as take part in the artistic part – performances by music, dance and theater groups.
