This Training of Multipliers is for 24 participants from Germany and Poland. The aim is to equip a new generation of multipliers with learning approaches of the
JustNow – Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights and develop together new educational materials (activity plans, exercises and timelines) which will be part of the JustNow - Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights.
WHAT IS JUSTNOW – A TOOLBOX FOR TEACHING HUMAN RIGHTS?
The “JustNow – A Toolbox for Teaching Human Rights” was created in response to internal evaluations and requests put forward by organizations and schools that previously participated in the Model International Criminal Court (MICC) project www.modelicc.org.
This learning platform is designed to support teachers, youth workers and young peer educators to actively create and use MICC-inspired learning approaches for human rights education. In order to make the abstract subject of human rights accessible to young people and relate it to their own life situations, the learning platform offers different materials for different types of learners.
The platform offers activity plans, exercises and timelines, as well as audio-visual content such as short animation movies which will help young people learn about human rights, diversity, basic democratic values and the rule of law independently or with the help of an educator. With the innovative approach of small-scale learning modules, this toolbox allows everyone to implement needs-tailored, innovative and engaging educational workshops.

- … will be able to attend and fully participating in a training which will be in English.
ORGANIZER
Kreisau Initiative e.V. (Berlin, Germany) and Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe (Krzyżowa, Poland).
MEETING PLACE
The training is going to take place in the International Youth Meeting Center Krzyżowa in Poland. Krzyżowa/Kreisau is a historical site. During World War II it was the meeting place of the Kreisau Circle, an important resistance group against the Nazi regime. Nowadays, the aim of Krzyżowa is supporting peaceful and tolerant existence of nations, social groups and individuals in Europe. The educational work in Krzyżowa builds bridges between the past and the present, between Western and East-ern Europe, and promotes dialogue between generations.
PARTICIPATION FEE
The fee covers accommodation in double room in 3* hotel, training and all meals. The fee can be reduced for students, interns, and unemployed upon request.

TRAVEL COSTS
The travel costs will be reimbursed during the training to each participant according the rules of our donor. Shown amounts are presenting the maximum reimbursement which each participant can receive.

Participants from Germany: There will be a shuttle bus organized from Berlin to Krzyżowa
(just for participants of the project) and as well from Krzyżowa to Berlin.
