The Krzyżowa Foundation is one of the organizations thanks to which the EduSkills+ Reflections platform was created. The aim of the project is intercultural education through the development of competences in the field of dialogue and reflection, which create the foundations for building an attitude open to the world. Such dialogue is considered as a condition for social bonds and social development of complex communities. The EduSkills+ Reflections platform is, among others, a collection of free and creative didactic materials that shape the skills necessary for active participation in democratic and diverse societies, as well as films and multimedia containing tools for workshops teaching critical thinking.

During the project, we were collecting teachers' and experts' opinions on the materials created in the project. On November 8th, 2019, a group of teachers from Wroclaw came to Krzyżowa, cooperating with Wroclaw Teacher Training Centre, to get acquainted with educational materials created with the Foundation's participation in the international project "Reflections: educating for critical thinking, inclusive societies, and dynamic engagement" (Projekt No.: 580306-EPP-1-2016-1-SK-EPPKA3-IPI-SOC-IN). Educators from the IYMC carried out a series of workshops from the module "Escape from war and persecution" (https://eduskills.plus/pl/modules/people_on_the_move/escape_from_war_and_persecution ). Teachers also exchanged observations on the usefulness of the materials in their daily work and completed an evaluation questionnaire on the project website.

This project has been funded with support from the European Commission (Erasmus+Programme of the European Union).

Partner organizations: Edukácia@Internet, Studio Gaus GmbH, Università Degli Studi Di Napoli Policlinico Federico II, Austrian Center of Philosophy with Children and Youth, Georg-Eckert-Institut, Südwind, inter-kulturo d.o.o.
