The film is based on interviews with witnesses of time: Polish soldiers who took part in the intervention of the Warsaw Pact troops in Czechoslovakia in August 1968, and Czechs who watched their dreams of building socialism with a human face fall. It tells about the way Poles perceived their participation in the military intervention and about the reactions of the Czechs.

The film was prepared by the Czech organization Post Bellum, in cooperation with the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, as part of the project "Together across the borders of totalitarian systems" (Společně mezi hranicemi totalitních system), co-financed by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
