Dominik Kretschmann

Studied law in Pasava, Irkutsk (Russia) and Frankfurt/Oder. After his second state examination, he taught from 2002 to 2004 within the framework of the lecturer programme of the Robert Bosch Foundation at the Faculty of Law of the University of Szeged (Hungary). From 2005 to 2007, he worked as a regional coordinator for Poland and the Czech Republic at the Institute for Foreign Relations (cultural manager secondment programme for the German minority). Since November 2007 he has worked at the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, since 2012 as head of the Memorial Site.
Area of professional activity and specialisation:
- educational and exchange projects,
- adult education,
- historical-political education with emphasis/priority on the resistance movement and German-Polish relations.
