A state cultural institution whose aim is to promote Polish national heritage and disseminate the historical and cultural heritage created by Poles after World War II. The center runs a number of programs and exhibition projects to respect the historical truth, incl. "Train to History" ("Pociąg do Historii"), "Witnesses of History" ("Świadkowie Historii").
