Action Reconciliation for Peace is a christian-oriented organization which since 1958 is committed to working towards reconciliation and peace through voluntary services, personal encounters and active help – in particular in countries who suffered the most during National Socialism and the Second World War. ARSP is actively advocating the memory of the Nazi crimes, tolerance and peace and is engaging against antisemitism, racism and other forms of
discrimination. Today around 180 volunteers a year in 13 countries are working for ARSP. Since the late 90s ARSP is sending 15 German and since a couple of years Ukrainian volunteers yearly to Poland to work in projects related with historical education, social support for the elderly, support of people with disabilities and socially disadvantaged people. The polish partner foundation Stowarzyszenie ASF w Polsce was founded in 2009.
