The 30th anniversary of the Polish-German Reconciliation Mass in Krzyżowa provides an opportunity to cultivate the memory of this event, but - what is equally important - it gives an opportunity to build a narrative about it, initiate a conversation about the meanings attributed to it, and reflect on the significance of the November events and their place in Polish-German relations. The participants of the ceremony will have the opportunity to look at the development of relations and cooperation between the two countries after 1989, as well as the political changes that preceded them in Poland and Germany, from the perspective of time.

The jubilee celebrations in Krzyżowa will be international and ecumenical in nature. They will be attended by representatives from Poland and Germany: representatives of national and local authorities, clergymen representing the Catholic Church and the Evangelical-Augsburg Church, scientists and publicists were invited.

The celebrations of the Jubilee will begin with a ceremonial Holy Mass, commemorating the events of 12 November 1989.

In the second part of the celebrations there will be a conference with the participation of local government officials from Poland and Germany, scientists and publicists. It will be devoted to the legacy of Polish-German rapprochement and its importance for Polish-German cooperation, with particular emphasis on the local government level.
