Polish-German-Bulgarian youth exchange Siedlce-Mühlenbeck-Warba, 05-09.09.2022 Krzyżowa

From 05.09.2022 to 09.09.2022 a Polish-German-Bulgarian youth exchange between schools took place at the IYMC Krzyżowa:

Käthe-Kollwitz-Gesamtschule from Mühlenbeck,
Hetman Stanisław IV High School from Siedlce and
Sredno uchiliste "Pejo Kr. Yavorov" from Varna.

This was the first exchange in the history of the International Youth Meeting Centre in Krzyżowa in which a school from Bulgaria participated. Almost 50 pupils and students took part in the exchange.

The main themes of the exchange were diversity and theatre activities.

As part of the exchange, the young people in mixed subgroups developed their own performance based on 'The Little Prince' by author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. The play used three languages: Polish, German and English, and the young people created their own set design elements. The pupils showed great ingenuity and their own vision of the stage, and in no time at all they were able to establish a rapport and help each other create their roles.
