On 20 April, the programme 'Facts about the World' aired on TVN24 BiS showed material presenting the robbery of children from Ukraine by the Russians, showing some parallels between the contemporary situation and the crimes committed by Nazi Germany during the Second World War. The material was based on an interview with Dr Tomasz Skonieczny, an employee of the Krzyżowa Foundation.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that the Krzyżowa Foundation, together with our partners from Germany, Ukraine and the Czech Republic, has been working since 2021 on the educational project 'Uprooted', dedicated to the story of children robbed by the German occupation authorities during the Second World War. A project that has become tragically more relevant after 22 February 2022 and the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
