For staging the festival Krzyżowa-Music we are looking for interns to join our young, committed team in the core period of 11 August to 06 or 13 September 2021.
Your Tasks will be:
▪️ Participation in event management:
- festival organisation
- concert venues support
- social media
▪️ Participation in the artistic management office
- sheet music management
- rehearsal schedule support
- artists support and transfers
▪️ Assisting the organisation of concerts and other events
- stage setting
- stage lighting
- ticketing
- visitors service
Requirements:
- Knowledge and love of classical music
- Communication skills, open-mindedness and interest in people and culture
- Reliability in assigned duties and joy of working in a team
- Excellent organisational skills combined with the ability to work well and precisely under great pressure as well as a high level of dedication.
- Experience in page turning for pianists
- Highly competent spoken and written English and German, Polish would be an asset
- Holder of a driving license Class B with thorough driving experience
- Undergraduate or graduate student enrolled during the duration of the internship and pursuing a degree in music and cultural management, musicology, cultural sciences or other related subjects.

Krzyżowa is a place of German history and since 30 years a Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe. In August 2021, for the seventh time, a number of internationally renowned and established musicians of our time will meet with carefully selected young talents from the European classic scene. In a relaxed atmosphere the chamber music ensembles under the artistic leadership of Viviane Hagner will have sufficient time to explore and to study in-depth rarely played or well-known pieces. The programmes for the summer concerts as well as the late summer tour result from the work in Krzyżowa.
