From September, the Krzyżowa Foundation starts implementing two more projects, for which it obtained funds from the European Union and the state budget under the Regional Operational Program of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship for 2014-2020. The value of both projects is nearly PLN 6 million. The aim of the projects is to increase the employability of vocational education students and to increase the competences and qualifications of teachers of practical vocational training. About 500 participants will take part in the projects.
Tym razem będą one skierowane do uczniów i kadry nauczycielskiej Zespołu Szkół Technicznych w Kłodzku (project "Professionals on the local labor market" ) and to four schools in Wałbrzych (project "Development of professional competences and qualifications of students of Wałbrzych schools". The project partners are: Powiat Kłodzki, Gmina Wałbrzych and the Foundation for European Education.
As part of the projects, students will receive support in the form of professional internships and qualification courses tailored to their needs and necessary on the labor market. In addition, they will be able to take advantage of specialist classes organized at school and at universities, as well as educational and vocational counseling, classes preparing for the Matura exam and professional trips. Teachers will be able to participate in training and postgraduate studies.The project also provides for equipping schools with IT equipment and educational aids. An important element of both projects will be a series of trainings, helping both students and teachers to implement the teaching process with the use of modern ICT methods.
