41 young people from Środa Śląska and Saterland spent 6 days in Krzyżowa as part of a Polish-German meeting of young people from partner cities. The meeting took place from 17.09 to 22.09, and its program was extremely diverse, intensive and dynamic. There were language and integration workshops, hiking in the mesmerizing Ślężański Landscape Park, a visit to a school in Środa Śląska and learning about the city's history.
The program also included time for evenings together with music, a bonfire and sightseeing in Swidnica and Wroclaw. The atmosphere of the project was extremely friendly and welcoming. During the workshops on Polish-German relations, the young people had space to exchange ideas on developing cooperation between Środa Śląska and Saterland. And so, for example, the idea of organizing a meeting between the youth councils of the city and county from Środa Śląska and the youth council from Sateland was born. We are keeping our fingers crossed and rooting for the venture, and representatives of both youth councils are already invited to the Conference "The Future Begins Today. The new reality of international exchanges with the young person in the lead role", which will take place from 16-18.10.2023 in Krzyzowa.
