It's here and we can finally announce it - the list of winners of the International Essay Competition "My Europe of Freedom/ My Evropa Svobody/ Mein Europa der Freiheit". It includes authors from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic who submitted their work by 12 April 2021.
Our list of finalists now includes 6 authors each from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. But it will not be until 11 December, at a gala event at the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum in Leipzig, that our international jury will announce the names of 3 winners from each country. These persons will receive cash prizes.
We would like to thank you very much for such a great interest in our competition! Congratulations to the finalists and we are already looking forward to December to meet the authors of the winning essays in person.

The project of the International Essay Contest "My Europe of Freedom/Mein Europa der Freiheit" is implemented under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer, with funding from the European Union within the framework of the programme "Europe for Citizens". Financial support was also provided by the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Wrocław and the companies Porsche, Sparkasse Leipzig, VNG and Sachsen Milch.
The project is implemented in partnership with Bildungswerk Sachsen der Deutschen Gesellschaft e.V. (project leader) and Landesversammlung der deutschen Vereine / Shromáždění německých spolků.
