The first meeting of schools implementing the pilot School of Dialogue project took place on 25 August in Krzyżowa. The pandemic forced us to stop testing materials translated from Dutch and only now it was possible to gather teachers who implemented lessons from the first 3 blocks of the program in their schools and kindergartens before the announcement of the school closure.

Schools and kindergartens exchanged their expectations before joining the program and the degree of fulfillment of these expectations. The evaluation showed that the material is very well received by children, that it allows behavioral changes and facilitates group conflict resolution. The teachers praised the program for its systematization, simplicity of communication, flexibility and effectiveness.

During the meeting, we also managed to remotely connect with Rotterdam and talk to Hans Scheltima, who has been implementing the program in the Netherlands for many years, has great experience in working with schools and shared his reflections with us, gave tips and answered questions from Polish teachers. During the meeting, the project team also presented a project flyer, which will be available in schools for teachers and parents. The meeting was also an opportunity to talk about the continuation of the pilot implementation of the program, planning further training for teachers, as well as visits of the project team to schools in the next school year. We ended the meeting with great hope that this time we will be able to complete the pilot phase and enter the phase of full program implementation without any disruptions.
