Coronavirus memes are spreading across the online-world right now and some Facebook feeds are filled up. But what are memes? And how can memes be used in educational work at school, in youth work or social media?

We discovered this topic together with the webinar participants.

During the webinar we presented basic observations on this phenomenon. What are the functions of memy? How can we express our opinions through us? We created our own moths, but also discovered what role they can play in the fight against hate speech. For us, it is clear that moths can play a democratic role and support positive messages by countering hate speech.
