On 5-6 June 2019, the participants of a study visit from Heinrich-Böll-Schule Rodgau and the German-Polish school exchange Zabrze-Wassenberg took part in discussions about our common future in Europe. Each participant could share their vision and ideas for Europe in a specially designed and built wooden structure. The 3.5-metre-long geodesic dome - Europe Dome was made for our participants by Anne Hardt and Helene Naira Paul from Democracy International - a non-governmental organization created by a network of democratic activists and organizations gathered around the European Citizens' Initiative. Democracy International is committed to strengthening civic participation and direct democracy within and outside the EU. Its aim is to enable citizens to participate directly in political decision-making.
So far, European Public Sphere has visited Spain, Italy, Austria and Germany and, of course, Krzyżowa.
