On 23-27 January, a group of young people from Łagiewniki (John Paul II Primary School) and Berlin (Nelson Mandela Schule) will be guests of Krzyżowa and will take part in a Polish-German school exchange.

The aim of the project within the framework of civic education is to confront the past (World War II with concentration camps as a consequence of National Socialism) and the present (current problems in Europe and in the world, with particular emphasis on growing populism and nationalism).
As part of the program, young people will visit the Gross-Rosen Museum in Rogoźnica.
During the workshops, young people will discover what unites them and will get to know each other using non-formal education methods.

Organizers: John Paul II Primary School, Nelson Mandela Schule, Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe.

Project coordination: Karolina Moroz - IYMC educational project specialist in Krzyżowa, volunteers: Mirko Brammen, Gonçalo Tavares
Co-financed by:  Deutsch-Polnisches Jugendwerk (DPJW)
