From 28 September to 2 October a Polish-German youth exchange took place in Krzyżowa. A group of 32 students from I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Króla Kazimierza Wielkiego from Olkusz and Kurt-Huber-Gymnasium from Gräfelfing took part in it.
During several days of workshops, the young people discussed the greatest problems of their countries. There was talk of the climate catastrophe, free media, the right to vote for 16-year-olds. The students also had to perform creative tasks, including creating the first page of the magazine (the results of their work are presented below).
There was a lot of emotions, but most of all mutual respect and an enormous desire to change the world for the better. Exchange participants learned about interpersonal communication and communication between Poland and Germany. And apart from studying, there was also a lot of laughter, a fire, a trip to Wrocław and evening karaoke.
It is not the first time that the youth from Olkusz and Gräfelfing met in Krzyżowa and we are looking forward to the next change realized by this partnership.
