Yesterday we said goodbye to the participants of the youth exchange "Human, You Have Rights!". Planned as a meeting of young people from three countries: Poland, Germany and France, it ultimately turned out to be only a Polish-German project. Due to the difficulties caused by the prevailing pandemic, French youth could not, unfortunately, come to Krzyżowa. Nevertheless, we are very pleased that this 10-day youth meeting took place in an international format.
The main objective of the exchange was to increase the social and linguistic skills of young people in a spirit of cooperation and respect for human rights. For this purpose, workshops on democracy, online hate speech, human rights and activating the local community were organized. There were also creative, artistic, integration and sightseeing activities. The exchange program included trips to Wrocław, Świdnica and participation in pontoon trip in Bardo.
We hope that it was a wonderful holiday time for everyone, bearing fruit in new acquaintances and skills.
Due to the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the exchange was organized in accordance with the current guidelines of GIS, Ministry of Health and the Ministry of National Education regarding the rest of children and adolescents.
The project was financed by the funds of the Polish-German Youth Cooperation and the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Wrocław.
