On 6th December in Krzyżowa a jubilee meeting of the team and members of the boards of the Krzyżowa Foundation took place. It was a unique opportunity to summarize the jubilee year and thank all those who are involved in the implementation of the Foundation's mission in their daily work.

The result of the joint work of all participants was, among others, the preparation of an ecological chain that decorated our Krzyżowa Christmas tree. And under the Christmas tree small gifte were waiting for everyone.

- If we find a moment and look at the profiles of our family and friends in social media, we will see that we live well. Probably the best in our history. But that's why we started to forget - or to put it simply: we don't know our recent past. Thus, we should recognize that we have probably stopped drawing conclusions from painful experiences - not preparing ourselves for what may come. - Dr. Tomasz Skonieczny, Deputy Head of the European Academy of the Krzyżowa Foundation, explains the necessity of organizing such meetings.
Between the 18th and 24th of November, there was the 21st annual celebration of Global Education Week which is annually implemented by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe. The theme of this year's week was "Wake Up! This is the final call for climate”. With this occasion, The Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe widened our actions against climate change and organized several events and activities in this scope.
Throughout the whole week, we daily published in social media several posts with informative graphics about climate change and its effects with the aim of reaching more people and raising awareness about this issue. We shared various facts about climate change and related news around the world, as well as several examples of practical actions that can be taken against climate change.
