At the beginning of February a group of 41 students from schools in Częstochowa and Ludwigshafen came to Krzyżowa once again. During the several days of exchange, the young people had the opportunity to learn about the culture and history of both countries as well as the history of our region. The group also took part in a tour in the castle "Książ" in Wałbrzych and the Church of Peace in Świdnica.
During their visit at Krzyżowa, young people took part in many workshops, among others, on what identity is. The participants of the exchange worked in groups and then presented their reflections. Pupils also explored issues related to the Krzyżowa Circle, resistance to totalitarian regimes, the anti-discrimination and acceptance of diversity. At the end of the meeting, the young people discussed their presentations, in which they shared their reflections.

On 6 February, in Radio GRA 95,1 FM Wrocław a short report presenting the activities of the Krzyżowa Foundation was aired.
In the programme they were speaking:
- Anna Kudarewska, Program Director and Head of the IYMC, who talked about youth exchanges, the history of the Foundation and the exhibition Courage and Reconciliation,
- Agnieszka Janik - coordinator of "My and Your History" project (organised by Kreisau-Initiative e.V.) and a member of the Council of the IYMC, which highlighted the benefits of the international youth meeting.

At the end of January we started the third module of the project "Our common world - global education of children", co-financed by the Polish Cooperation Programme of The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This year's and last edition of the three-year project includes:
- training for teachers of early childhood education - recruitment completed,
- training for primary school teachers - open recruitment,
- training for advanced influenza, which has already completed basic training in global education - open recruitment,
- training for students of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Warsaw - recruitment completed
The aim of the first training block called "Global Education Content and Ethics", which took place on 30.01-01.02.2020, was:
- to acquaint the participants with the issues of global education and ways of its implementation in Poland,
- reflecting on the ethics of global education in accordance with the Code on Images and News for the countries of the South,
- reflecting on one's own attitudes and motivation to implement EG in working with children.

On 21-25.01.2020, the International Youth Meeting Centre hosted a meeting with the students of Nelson Mandela School in Berlin and Primary School No. 8 from Świdnica.
The Polish-German group worked mainly on historical topics, focusing on the issue of persecution during the Nazi period. The workshops were accompanied by presentations and discussions in multinational groups. The young people also had the opportunity to discuss more contemporary topics and threats, such as climate change, among themselves. The results of their group work were then presented in public.
The group took part in a guided tour of the Krzyżowa Foundation and learned about the history of the anti-Nazi group Krąg z Krzyżowej. The young people also visited the Gross Rosen Museum, where the students laid flowers and commemorated the victims of Nazi terror.
