A delegation from the Willy Robert Pitzer Foundation visited Krzyżowa on 15-17.06.2022. Since 2016, the Pitzer Foundation has been supporting the activities of the Krzyzowa Foundation - initially through the award of the Erika Pitzer Prize for the International Youth Meeting Centre - and since 2021 through long-term support to strengthen international cooperation.
This year, representatives of the Pitzer Foundation were able to get to know the work of the Foundation and the International Youth Meeting Place and the Memorial Site on site. The trip was organised in cooperation with the Frey von Moltke Foundation and was accompanied by Helmuth Caspar von Moltke and Dr Anna Quirin. During the stay, the programme was very densely packed, including meetings with contemporary witnesses of Kreisau's historical events, excursions and presentations. However, everything was focused on the exchange of experiences and mutual integration and getting to know each other.

Krzyżowa for Ukraine, active first week of holidays!
Almost four months have passed since the moment when the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe was qualified by the voivode of Lower Silesia and the municipality of Świdnica as an ad hoc accommodation for refugees from Ukraine. Since then, nearly 100 people from Ukraine have been staying in our center, more than half of whom are children. For families who have escaped from the war, we provide safe shelter, while organizing the possibility of education, development and active spending of free time.
