In October and November 2021, over 500 students, representatives of all primary schools in Świdnica, visited Krzyżowa as part of the "Świdnicka Mozaika Edukacyjna" project. Students learned together and developed their interests by implementing content related to ecology, nature and science, as well as information and communication technologies.
„Świdnicka Mozaika Edukacyjna” is a partnership project of the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe (Partnership Leader) and the Municipality of Świdnica (Project Partner). The project is aimed at teachers, pedagogical staff and students of all 7 public primary schools in Świdnica, whose governing body is the Municipality of the City of Świdnica.
From Saturday, 2nd October, a Polish-German youth exchange is taking place in Krzyżowa. It is attended by students of III Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Juliusza Słowackiego in Leszno and Hohenstaufen-Gymnasium Kaiserslautern. For 5 days, until 7 October, young people will jointly participate in workshops devoted mainly to history, as well as language and integration activities. A day trip to the nearby Gross-Rosen Museum in Rogoźnica has also been planned.
This is not the first meeting of young people from Leszno and Kaiserslautern in Krzyżowa. The previous one was held in 2019 and at that time also students from Odessa, who this year, due to the pandemic restrictions, could not participate in the exchange, took part in it.

On 29-30 September, employees of "Krzyżowa" Foundation took part in a study visit in EUC Zealand in Næstved, Denmark. The visit was organised within a project "Skills and Talent" funded by Erasmus+ programme.
The aim of the "Skills and Talent" project is to exchange experiences of partners participating in skills competitions and to create a good practice handbook for VET (Vocational Education and Training) institutions and VET teachers and trainers. The handbook/platform will include sample materials on the organisation of skills competitions, preparation of pupils for competitions, information materials and exercises for primary and lower secondary school pupils, teaching materials for vocational school pupils, training methods for VET teachers and trainers, etc.

The Krzyżowa Foundation hosted a meeting of headmasters, principals and teachers from local schools with Jacek Wasik, director of the Regional Representation of the European Commission in Wrocław. It took place on September 28, 2021 in the palace in Krzyżowa as part of the series of meetings "Civic Dialogues", carried out by the European Commission.
The meeting was opened by dr hab. Robert Żurek, managing director of the Krzyżowa Foundation. Then Jacek Wasik presented the possibilities of cooperation between schools and the EC Representation, after which the discussion part began. All those present could share their observations on the current opportunities and problems of Polish education. During the meeting, the educational offer of the Krzyżowa Foundation was also presented, employees of the International Youth Meeting Center - Anna Kudarewska and Adelajda Lebioda, as well as Dr. Tomasz Skonieczny from the European Academy talked about their projects, in which children and young people from local schools can participate. The meeting ended with a joint lunch issued on the occasion of the upcoming National Education Day, which was also an opportunity to integrate and continue discussions in an informal atmosphere.
