Working meetings of the "School of Dialogue" project

On 16 and 18 June two working meetings of the "School of Dialogue" project took place. Of course both virtual. The first was devoted to seeking further financing for the implementation of the project. The second was a meeting of the extended working group and concerned the adaptation of Dutch materials to the Polish education system and Polish cultural conditions.

The second meeting brought together people from Amsterdam (Anne Frank House), Rotterdam (CED Groep), Wrocław (University of Lower Silesia), Berlin (trainer) and of course the Krzyżowa team (some from Wrocław, some from Krzyżowa). It was possible to constructively plan further work on the adaptation of the program and the comments of its creators from the Netherlands, who also shared their experience with the implementation of the program in schools, were invaluable here.

Online conference || "DO GOOD - global education in primary school" (VIDEO)

The Center for Ecological Activities „Źródła” organized an online conference "DO GOOD - global education in primary school" on 15-18 June 2020. It was attended by over 20 specialists from various fields, including Anna Dańkowska, project coordinator of Krzyżowa Foundation and co-author of the publication 'Recipe for a better world - we educate peers about food. Educational materials for young people aged 14-16 ".

Webinar "Educational ecological garden in the permaculture approach" - 18.06.2020 (VIDEO)

In the first half of June 2020, in the relation to the garden being built on the premises of the "Krzyżowa" Foundation, there were workshops on designing an educational ecological garden in a permaculture approach.

The third and final part of the workshop is behind us: "Educational permaculture garden - design workshops". Working online, the participants had the opportunity to summarize the knowledge gained so far about the principles of permaculture design: collecting field data using their own observations and specific tools, working with maps and climate data. They used it to play the role of designers and present their vision of the garden in Krzyżowa.

After the Webinar #TikTok

On Monday, 15 June, the webinar "TikTok: Between lip sync and political participation" took place. In the 70-minute webinar, the participants learned what TikTok is about and how trends, hashtags and challenges influence each other, also to understand why it has a great fascination especially for young people.
