For reasons beyond our control, we had to change the repertoire of the Outdoor Cinema. Instead of the film "Bohemian Rhapsody" directed by Bryan Singer, the film "Gotowi na wszystko. Exterminator" by Michał Rogalski will be screened. The screening will be held for sure, if the weather surprises us, it will be moved to a multifunction hall.
We invite you to join us!
This Thursday, July 23rd, we invite you to the screening under the stars. In the first outdoor cinema in Krzyżowa we will present you the film "Gotowi na wszystko. Exterminator" by Michał Rogalski, a Polish musical comedy.
The screening will start at 21.00 and will last almost until midnight. Because the evenings are cool, it is worth taking warm clothes or a blanket with you. Remember to cover your mouth and nose during the entire event. In case of rain, the projection will be rescheduled to another day.

We are pleased to inform that the project of the "Krzyżowa" Foundation, entitled ‘1990 / Year One. The democratic transformation in former Eastern Bloc countries’, received funding from the Europe for Citizens Programme - Strand 1. European Remembrance.
The aim of the project is to understand and bring closer the knowledge about the changes that took place in 1990 in Poland, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Lithuania and other Baltic countries.
This year's "Ways of Freedom" took place on 18 July in an unusual, although typical of the current pandemic situation, online format. The project was implemented with the support of the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation by the International Youth Meeting Centre in Oświęcim and the Krzyżowa Foundation. About 25 people from Poland and Germany took part in the several-hour-long online meeting - participants of previous editions of the project, but also other teachers, volunteers, people working for Polish-German organisations.

On 13-17 July 2020, the second summer camp "Closer to nature" took place. This time there were three groups: two with younger participants (children aged 7-10) and one group of young people aged 11-14. All of them spent a very intensive week developing their interests and trying to put them into the context of ecology and environmental protection, as these were the subjects to which most of the classes were dedicated.
In a spirit of cooperation and respect for nature, young people learned mainly English, and a group of younger children developed their artistic skills. There were also sports and integration activities and, of course, good fun, which is the basis of summer activities. The picturesque surroundings of Krzyżowa and the beautiful weather favoured walks and observations of nature, which for some people was an inspiration for creative work, for others an excuse to learn new words in foreign languages.
